Tonia has worked in healthcare for more than 2 decades, beginning as an Assistant in a care home and working her way up. She became a Community Nurse with the Barking and Dagenham NHS Trust in 2006, and then later a Practice Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner. She helped found Brand Healthcare in 2015. As a registered Nurse, Tonia is very passionate about the care she provides for her patients. She is very knowledgeable and is known for her exceptional listening skills.
Of course, you can’t do that without a great deal of education. Tonia earned her Diploma in Adult Nursing from City University London and then her BSc in Public Health and Health Service Management from the University of East London. She attended many speciality classes to gain a deeper understanding of the public health sector and eventually attained her MBA from the University of Cumbria.
Today, Tonia is the registered manager of Brand Healthcare. In this role, she liaises between the service users, the different local council commissioners, a range of multi-disciplinary health professionals and course the staff themselves. It is Tonia’s ultimate responsibility to ensure that all individuals who are involved in the delivery of healthcare services are both fully qualified for and satisfied with their roles so that our service users receive the best quality care.
